Torta della Nonna

Torta della Nonna is a shortcrust pastry tart filled with custard and pine nuts. Originally from Tuscany, it is now one of the most popular desserts throughout Italy. 

Torta della Nonna


  • 1 kg plain base 
  • 50 g Delipaste Nonna Rachele 
  • 50 g Delipaste Pinolata 
  • Crockoloso Almonds and Pine Nuts to taste 
  • crumbled shortcrust pastry to taste 
  • slices of tart to taste 

For the gelato 

Mix the plain base with Delipaste Nonna Rachele and Delipaste Pinolata. Then churn the mixture. 

For the garnish  

Ripple during the extraction process and garnish with Crockoloso Almonds and Pine Nuts, crumbled shortcrust pastry and slices of tart.
