Apple Strudel

Apple strudel, eaten in Austria, Germany, Hungary and northern Italy, is a pastry roll filled with apples, pine nuts, sultanas and cinnamon. 

Apple Strudel


  • 1 l plain base 
  • 40 g Nonna Rachele paste 
  • 20 g milk 
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder 
  • Fabbri Marbling Apple and Cinnamon to taste 
  • sultanas to taste 
  • crumbled puff pastry to taste 
  • icing sugar to taste 

For the gelato 

Mix the plain base with Nonna Rachele Paste, milk and cinnamon powder, then churn the mixture.

For the garnish 

During the extraction process, ripple with Fabbri Marbling Apple and Cinnamon, sultanas and crumbled pastry. Cover the surface of the gelato with a sprinkling of sifted icing sugar. If desired, use a fresh cut apple sprayed with Fabbri Fresca Frutta.
