Innovation is a fundamental part of Fabbri 1905's business, investment in R&D in the last year it was 1.350.724 € both in the product and in the technological and process fields.

As for product innovation, Fabbri 1905 has brought important news in all three of its Business Units: for the Retail area the new launches have characterized the entry into new market categories and the other enriched the core business of Amarena Fabbri, for the Bartender and Baristas area, the new ranges launched represented an innovation in the Mixology area and, finally, for the Gelateria and Pastry area, the launches of new and refined products for professionals. The total number of registered trademarks Fabbri 1905 is 290 of which 31 were renewed and 9 completely new in 2022.
Technological innovation, in order to ensure the continuous improvement of product quality and the working environment, perfecting the existing “ultra clean” solutions implemented in recent years, particularly for syrups at risk of fermentation, and insulating a large part of the plant in order to minimize energy consumption and its impact.
With regard to innovation in the process, the Company continued the development of lean manufacturing, holistically redesigning the digital ecosystem in order to offer users an experience that combines web, e-commerce and social marketing. Advancing towards greater digitization within the company, Fabbri also presented a continuous digital training path for its employees and, in line with the technological development path undertaken, migrated its management system to Dynamics FO365.
Lastly, Fabbri has strengthened its Training Schools in order to grow internal technical, management and commercial skills through a pull of specific courses, many of which are in an e-learning format.
