Classic Sacher Torte

An Austrian chocolate cake made with two layers and apricot jam in the middle and a dark chocolate glaze.



  • 1 l Fabbri Gran Cioccolato base
  • 50 g Nonna Rachele paste
  • 60 g milk
  • Nutty Nero
  • apricot jam
  • Cocoa biscuit
  • Fabbri Kroccant

For the Gelato

Mix the Fabbri Gran Cioccolato base with Nonna Rachele paste and milk, and place in the batch freezer.

For the Decoration

Extract the Gelato from the batch freezer and marble it with the apricot jam, Fabbri Kroccant, and cocoa biscuit. Top with cocoa biscuit and Nutty Nero and/or Fabbri Kroccant.

Nonna's Tip

If you create a tub with flat, cremino-like layers, write the word Sacher with a rounded S on top, as per the Viennese tradition.
