Bologna, October 11, 2019 – The catering universe calls and "the Amarena company" responds with a whole range of fast, reliable, winning and cutting-edge solutions for professionals in the sector all over the world. Fabbri 1905, with its heart in Bologna and international outlook, displays them at HOST 2019 (Fiera Milano October 18-22), the leading world expo for the world of catering and out and about, in two delicious islands on “Gelato & Pastry” (Hall 6, stand E32 E40 F33 F39) and the “Beverage” planet (Hall 18, Stand F60 G63).
Fabbri's islands of flavour
The “Pastry & Gelato” island, located in Hall 6, will be open on all four sides and include a double laboratory and showcase where the great classics – such as the timeless Amarena Fabbri jar – will be accompanied by new products such as Simplé Aloe, the latest Simplé line item that will be awarded at Host with the “Smart Label with special mention by Maestro Iginio Massari”. Simplé Aloe condenses two of the qualities most sought after by professionals: speed (just 10 minutes to prepare an excellent homemade gelato, but also a granita or smoothie milkshake or soft-ice gourmet) and aloe's effects on wellness, scientifically confirmed.
The “Beverage” island, located in Hall 18, will pack a small drinking universe, divided into 2 hemispheres able to meet the H24 out and about hospitality needs: the day bar island, which will include Coffee Specialities and Cold Drinks; the night bar island, which will be enlivened by Italian Aperitifs, Cocktails by Fabbri – including an alcohol-free selection – and stunning Molecular Cocktails. A library of ingredients and flavours to perfectly replicate Made in Italy excellence anywhere: like the coffee cream with the Neapolitan Pastiera or Gianduia or the colourful universe of Fabbri's Spritzs.

The ultimate goal is to provide hospitality specialists with a complete range innovative, practical, versatile, modern and - without a doubt - high quality solutions. Products, contents, but also educational-show: Fabbri will excite the public with “VIP” master classes and “demos” to show off the delicious drive and problem-solving ability of its rich corporate range.

This is the case of Simplé Aloe, the latest addition to the Simplé line, that will be awarded at Host with the “Smart Label with special mention by Maestro Iginio Massari”, newly nominated “Best Pastry Chef of the World”. You can try it at Host interpreted by another pastry chef, Francesco Elmi, with Gelée Aloe.
Simplé Aloe is only the latest Fabbri 1905 product that follows the Superfood trend: in recent years the gelato range has been enriched with a line of marblings tailored to this trend. The new “Citron and Turmeric” marbling that will be introduced at Host accompanies the “Apple and cinnamon” and “Ginger and Elder” marblings launched in 2019. All of them offer a particularly innovative combination of flavours combined with today's trendiest spices. These “super marblings” also perfectly combine with the brand new Simplé GREEK Yoghurt, another new product introduced at Host.
There will be many “delicacies” you can try for the first time at Host: Amor di Limone, where lemon freshness combines with the intense flavour of Nutty Nero. Amor di Fragola, a sweet candied strawberry covered with a soft mousse. Maestro Elmi's panettone, World Champion Panettone finalist.
What's more, the timeless Amarè and Amarè Mignon, the inimitable semifreddi with a soft Amarena Fabbri centre, in addition to other delicacies such as vegan cantucci and amarettos.

From the perfect “Pastiera Napoletana” in a coffee cream version to the molecular cocktail, from the colours of the Spritz for an unforgettable Italian Aperitif to the classic “Americano in Bologna” based on Marendry, to be savoured in a glass shaped like the inimitable Amarena jar. Fabbri brings its “Drink Strategy” to Host, a select and varied range to meet every customer's needs, everywhere in the world at any time of the day and night.
The Day Time proposal includes Cold Drinks and Coffee Specialities, that ranges from the Made in Italy tradition – like the Pastiera Napoletana cream or Gianduia – to products that tailor to the international clientèle like “Espresso&Tonic” Tikal Flower or Masala Mule. Attention to the latest trends also demonstrated by FRAPPE’ POWDER, a powder product for milkshakes, frappè and smoothies, that will be introduced to the market at this time.
For Night Time, the company from Bologna offers its personal version of the Italian Aperitif – from Spritz reinterpreted in “a thousand Fabbri colours” to the classic Marendry – a varied list of Cocktails – including an alcohol-free selection designed for the Arab market – and a spectacular Molecular selection. The Fabbri island will be a show stopper with VIP master classes held by Bruno Vanzan, Gianni Cocco and the newly elected Lady Amarena from Bologna.
